For more than 25 years, GUG has accompanied the writing of business histories. It supports authors, editors, and clients during all phases of writing – from the first concept to the printable manuscript. Its projects are manifold: there are studies on special aspects of a company’s historical development as well as comprehensive studies that analyse a company’s history in total. Anniversaries frequently give occasion to commission one of our studies; however, we ensure our studies’ long-lasting value by our concepts.

Due to its many years of experience, the GUG can offer a wide range of services from a single source. GUG carries out preliminary and feasibility studies in order to secure the source situation and create a concept with solid content. It prepares content concepts, implementation concepts, cost estimates and schedules for its clients, searches for and supervises authors, researches sources, drafts contracts, selects suitable publishers and accompanies book presentations or other events related to historical communication.
The authors of our studies are usually university employees or professional, proven company historians. With our worldwide network, we are able to find qualified and competent historians for the various questions of a historical study. Based on this professional competence, the results of our studies provide an added value for the company.
